Should you take it?

  • Suits architects who already hold a Microsoft Associate-level certification and plan, design and deploy AI-powered business solutions.
  • Not for newcomers: you need at least one prerequisite Associate-level certification as well as a pass in AB-100.
  • The catch: the $165 exam fee comes on top of earning a prerequisite Associate certification, though renewal is a free online assessment.
  • Take the Multi-Agent AI Solutions Expert (AI-500) instead if you develop agent systems in Python rather than design business solutions.
