What is the Claude Certified Architect?

The Claude Certified Architect has two levels, Foundations (CCAR-F) and Professional (CCAR-P), and only members of the Claude Partner Network can take the exams.

Should you take it?

  • Suits architects at Claude Partner Network firms who design Claude systems and want a proctored exam that counts toward partner standing.
  • Not for independent learners: unless your employer belongs to the Claude Partner Network, you can't book the exam at all.
  • The catch: Anthropic publishes no price, so your firm has no figure to budget against when putting a team of architects forward.

Certification is open to organizations in the Claude Partner Network and counts toward partner program standing. Exams are available to members of the Claude Partner Network.

DeliveryEvery exam is proctored, meaning it is taken under supervision, and delivered through Pearson Professional Assessments. Online proctored (OnVUE) or a Pearson test center.

Anthropic updates the Claude Certified Architect Professional exam content on 7 December 2026, with an updated exam guide from 17 November 2026.
