Should you take it?
  • Suits university and college staff who teach with Gemini and want a free certificate that lasts 3 years.
  • Not for students, who have their own Gemini Certified Student exam, open from age 13.
  • The catch: Google doesn't list what the Faculty exam covers, so you can't check the syllabus against your teaching first.
  • Take Gemini Certified Educator instead if you want a published syllabus: it lists three areas, including responsible AI use in education.
